Obituary of Anthony Kay Mortenson

MORTENSON, Anthony Kay, of Mounds View, Minnesota took his last jump on May 25, 2019.  May he land safely on the down slope.  Tony was born on January 21, 1981.  An avid BMX rider, he performed widely in the US and internationally.  He also enjoyed golf.  After earning an Associate degree in turf management, Tony was employed as a greens superintendent.  Later he founded Dig Designs, a landscaping company.  Tony is survived by his father, Neal Mortenson; brother, Ian (Denise) Mortenson; Aunts, Thordys (Gordon) Blume, Elizabeth Gasparro, Rosemary (Ted) Woodrow; Uncle, Lynn Mortenson; Cousins, Lori (Dale) Brandt, Greg (Amy) Dimberg, Jeff (Hope) Dimberg, Michael (Becky) Blume; Margret (Casey) Kennedy, Kerri Kopecky, Steffanie Call, Emily Drew and Louise Woodrow; many relatives and good friends.  Tony’s closest friends and family will have a private Celebration of Life to honor his memory.
