Obituary of Robert (Bob) M. Eliason

Robert (Bob) M. Eliason, 70, a Superior resident, died Friday, May 24, 2019 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. He was born on April 24, 1949 in Superior to Robert Carl and Evelyn Clara Eliason.

Bob was a United States Army veteran who served in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Robert's early career, he was a diesel mechanic at EM Trucks. He also traveled the world working for Reach All.

Some of his favorite hobbies were computers, creating inventions and model trains. He was a true do-it-yourself. Bob had a unique personality and enjoyed meeting and talking to people. He will be missed by all that knew him. There was nothing he loved more than his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Jeanie) and Evelyn Eliason.

He is survived by his sisters Brenda (Ronnie) Lisburg, Cheryl Welch, Debra (George) Rosario; his children Christina Eliason (Bill Nelson), Robert (Melanie) Eliason, Patrick (Olivia) Eliason, Eric Eliason; grandchildren, Camber, Trent, Clayton, Carter, Andrew, Ethan, Emily, Clara, Eric Jr.; great-grandchild Amelia and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 1st at 3:00 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 pm.
