Obituary of James Isadore Touve

Touve, James Isadore, age 86, of Robbinsdale, passed away suddenly on May 22.  Preceded in death by son Dale James and parents Norman and Amelia Touve. Survived by wife of 61 years, June; daughters:  Lisa (Kevin) Olsen, Mary (Tom) Kackman, Nancy (Mark) Hovey, Sherry (Bob) Diedrich, Sara (Marc) Paul, Sally (Eric) LaClair; Grandkids:  Jarek, Tonia, Josh, Alisha, Blake, Maverick, Brianna, Zachary, Thaddeus, Dalee, Clara, Monica, James, Adam, Sally, Jeffrey, Bryce, Kevin and Jacob. He was very proud of his family! Jim graduated from the carpentry program at Dunwoody Institute. He hit the ground running and worked in the construction trades for 63 years…he never FULLY retired!  He was a giving person who used every opportunity to share his knowledge to help others.  He was also the man who would drop anything on short notice to help someone in need.  Jim was a proud member of Laborers Local 563.

Visitation Thursday, May 30 from 4-7 pm at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park.   Celebration of Life Friday, May 31, 11am Revive Church, 7849 W Broadway, Brooklyn Park with Visitation starting at 10 am.
