Obituary of Laura A. Kropp

Laura A. Kropp, 50, passed away in her home with her husband and daughters by her side on May 18th, 2019 after a battle with cancer.

Laura was born in East Moline, Illinois. She was the daughter of Ronald Payne and Mary Zack. She graduated and from Prescott Senior High and met husband Ross in 1987, they welcomed two daughters and would be celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary in June.

Laura was very active with her daughters marching band and dance teams. Laura was a huge Vikings fan and enjoyed many games together with her husband. They also enjoyed many adventures on their Harley.

Laura is survived by her husband Ross Kropp; daughters Samantha (Jacob Jordan) Kropp, Kasey Kropp; Father Ronald Payne; Mother Mary Zack; Brothers Kirk (Sherie) Zack, Dan (Pamela) Thrun, Robby Payne; Sisters DeAnna (Scott) Hendricks, Katharine Riewe, Amanda Payne. Laura is also survived by countless family and friends who adored her. 

Proceeded in death by step-father, Richard Thrun, step-brother, Derek Thrun, nephews, Brandon Lauwagie, Devon Lauwagie and grandparents, Belle and Louis Pardo, Helene and Robert Payne and Anita and Elroy Thurn.

  
Gathering of friends and family Thursday, May 30th at Faith United Methodist Church, 1530 Oakdale Avenue, West St. Paul, MN 55118. Service at 6:00 pm, visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Laura’s name to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
