Obituary of Peggy (Marguerite) Porter-Waara

Porter-Waara, Peggy (Marguerite) Age 65, of Bloomington passed away peacefully at home on May 9th, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Verona Porter. Peggy was loved by everyone who knew her because of her open, caring, and supportive nature, and she brought joy into the lives of all that she touched. One of her favorite activities was taking long walks around Lake Harriet. She had a degree in Interior Design from the U of MN and had several design related jobs. She also enjoyed decorating her own homes and they looked beautiful. Survived by husband Mike, sister Heidi, and many cousins and close friends. Funeral service will be at Berea Lutheran Church, 7538 Emerson Ave S, Richfield on June 21st. Visitation at 10am service 11am, reception following at the church. Memorials preferred to "City of Hope" 1500 E. Duarte Rd, Duarte, CA 91010.
