Obituary of Patricia Jo Carlson

CARLSON (Graen), Patricia Jo, age 58, of Rogers, passed away on May 14th, 2019.  Preceded in death by mother, Patricia Graen; brother, Jimmy Graen.  She will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, Wayne; children, Angela Gosch (Brandon), Dustin (Laura), Travis, Katie (Leo Hennen); grandchildren, Liam Gosch, Emmet Carlson, Owen Gosch; father, James Graen; siblings, Jeff (Julie), Tom, Kelly Romanchuk (Mike); nieces and nephews Michelle Gunter, Douglas Graen, Jessica Carlson(Ron Parish), Julie Palmer(Matt), Eric Carlson, Krissy Disrud(Matt), Jake Zwack, Katie Zwack, Jack Graen, MacKenzie Graen, Joey Graen, Gavin Graen; many relatives and good friends.   

Patricia(Jo) was a caring mother and grandmother that loved her family and friends more than anything.  She spent many years working in the broadcast industry and cultivated friendships around the country.  Pat loved athletics from the time she was a young girl and passed that love to her children and kept herself involved in sports her entire life.  She would gladly share her thoughts on Gopher hockey, the Twins, and the Packers; even if you never asked her.  Jo was never afraid to tell you like it was and always offered to help someone in need.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading, bingo, shopping, working in the yard, going on motorcycle rides with her husband, and spending time with her grand-children.   

There will be a Visitation on Thursday May 23rd at 1:00PM and a service to follow at 2:00PM at the Peterson Chapel, 300 Main Street North, St. Michael (763)497-5362.  There will be a Celebration of Life and refreshments afterwards at the Rogers Community Room, 21201 Memorial Dr, Rogers (763) 428-2253.
