Obituary of Becky Lynn Doherty

Becky Lynn (Nutt) Doherty was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, May 14 2019, after a courageous year and a half battle with cancer. She was born November 4, 1956 in Superior, WI to Ernest and Josephine Nutt. Becky worked at Jeno's in Superior for 7 years, and then at Bayshore Health Facility for the last 36 years. She was devoted in her Christian faith. Becky enjoyed children and took care of everybody. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting and ceramics.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sally and brother Gordon.

Becky is survived by her sisters Mary (Pat) Remington, Superior, WI, Evelyn (Kevin Daniels) Nutt, Blaine, MN; brothers Clarence Nutt, Superior, WI, George (Lori) Nutt, Pine City, MN; many nieces and nephews; special cousins Terry Petzold, Duwayne and Linda Lindahl and special friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 17th from 6-8 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May, 18th at 11:00 am at Mission Covenant Church in Poplar, WI, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
