Obituary of Larry Pfleiderer

Larry Pfleiderer - Inventor, entrepreneur businessman and longtime owner of Enviromatic Corporation, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, May 8th 2019. Larry was born in 1940 in Minneapolis, MN. Following high school, Larry worked in the family business, Helen Rainbow Paints. In 1973, he purchased the startup Enviromatic Corporation. Larry grew Enviromatic from a one-vehicle kitchen exhaust cleaning company that ran out of his garage to the successful industry leader it is today. Many of the current industry standards and quality programs now in place are offshoots of Larry’s innovations. Larry is survived by his children: Donald Pfleiderer (Debra) of Buffalo MN, David Pfleiderer of Andover MN, Deborah Tollefson (Alan) of Maple Grove MN and Elizabeth Williamson (Marvin) of Virginia Beach VA; grandchildren: Jessica, Brandon, Brittany (Geoff) and Joshua (Iliana); step-Grandchildren, Rachael and Sarah (Thomas); great-grandchild, Brianna and step-great-grandchildren, Ellianna and Amilia. Services will be on Wednesday, May 15th at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina MN. Visitation at 10:00 AM, Funeral services at 11:00 AM. Interment following.
