Huiqun (Ruby) Dong

Huiqun Dong has passed away very peacefully during her sleep at home on Monday May 6, 2019, at age of 85.

Huiqun was born on January 22, 1934.  She held multiple positions, but mainly as administrative professional in Harbin Institute of Technology in China from 1958 to 1990.  At work, she always put in her full passion and effort for perfection, and was loved and admired by her colleagues and people around her.

Most importantly, she was a filial daughter, a loving mother, a loving sister and a loving grandma.  She raised 4 children, all of whom went to college based on merit, which was rare at the time in China. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bunan Wu, her brother Chengyu Dong.

Huiqun is survived by her children: Chaoyang Wu, Chaozhen Wu, Chaohong Wu and Zhaohui Wu, and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. and Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m. followed by food on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota (Edina) 7110 France Ave. S, MN. 55435.
