Obituary of Dolores J. 'Dee' Baker

Baker, Dolores J. "Dee" age 90, of Chanhassen, MN, (formerly of Glencoe, MN) died May 3, 2019 at the N.C. Little Hospice in Edina, MN. She was born April 4, 1929, in NE Minneapolis to Dominic and Marie (Kowalski) Cich. She lost her father to MS when she was 15. She married Cyril T. Baker at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in NE Minneapolis on May 21, 1949. They were blessed with 11 children: Greg (Kathy), Celeste (JP) Heidelberger, Mark (Kay), Regina (Jeff) Otto, Gerard, Geralyn (Mike) Barone, Mary Angela (Jack Galloway) Baker, Laurie (Mike) Fischer, Jolene (Tim) Vicchiollo, Dominic (Kris), and Shelle (Shawn Gaither) Baker. She had 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her family, faith and friends were the loves of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cy, her son, Gerry, parents and only sibling, James Cich. Funeral services will be held at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Chanhassen on Tuesday May 28; visitation at the church from 10 am 11 am followed by funeral mass at 11 am. Interment at the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Hubert's, EWTN or N.C. Little Hospice.
