Obituary of DeAnn E. Olson

DeAnn E. Olson, age 80, lifelong resident of the Superior area joined her loving husband, Allan Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

She was born March 31, 1939 in Superior to Euclid and Carmen Whittaker. DeAnn attended East High School in Superior and went on to receive her license in Cosmotology.

DeAnn was a longtime member of the Elks and loved to travel the world.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan J. Olson; her parents; three brothers, Harvey Whittaker, Ronald Whittaker, Richard Whittaker and a sister, Marginia Hobina.

DeAnn is survived by her children, Michael (Linda) Soderlund, Jeffrey (Laurie) Soderlund, Timothy Soderlund and Susan Slough; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Delores Johnson, Carol Ronn and Janice (Jerald) LaGesse; many other relatives and friends.

There will be a celebration of her life beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11th at the Mission Covenant Church, 5161 S County Road P, Poplar, WI.
