Obituary of Gordon B. Manchester

Manchester, Gordon B. Age 70, of Eagan, passed away April 29, 2019, He was born October 18, 1948, in Towson, Maryland, to Gordon B. and Estelle C. (Covey) Manchester, Gordon graduated from the University of California, Berkley, in 1970, and obtained a graduate teaching certificate from California State University, Hayward, in 1972. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1970-1976. He worked for the Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury, retiring in 2005. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jeraulde, and son-in-law, Bryce J. Beinke. Survived by his wife of 40 years. Carol, and his children, Eric Scott Manchester and Anne Elizabeth Beinke, and granddaughters, Giselle Jane Manchester-Engler and Sunny Selene Beinke. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019, at River Hills United Methodist Church, 11100 River Hills Drive, Burnsville, MN,, at 3:00 PM with visitation one hour before at 2:00 PM. Meal will follow in Fellowship Hall. Memorials can be made to River Hills United Methodist Church, Simpson, Housing Services or Special Olympics Minnesota-Wild Angels.
