Obituary of Melissa Kramer

Kramer, Melissa age 36 of Elk River, daughter of Rex and Christine Kramer, sister of Jenna Kramer, passed away 4/22/2019 after a long and brave battle against cancer. Melissa was a Sergeant E5 Health Care Specialist in the Army National Guard from July 2003 to January 2012. In 2009 she served in Iraq with the 204th ASMC as an army medic. Melissa's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Namely, grandparents Millie and Bob Koenig, aunt Carol Anderson, uncles Randy and Rick Kramer, beloved dog Scrappy. She will be remembered most for her ever present smile, outrageous sense of humor, her strength and courage. Services for Melissa will be held at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd. on Friday, May 3 at 5 PM, visitation starting at 4 PM and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Animal Humane Society of MN.
