Chan, Thomas W.

Age 77, of Chanhassen, MN. Passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with COPD on April 22, 2019. Tom is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joanne; loving daughters, Leanne Engelking and Stephanie (Dave) Gestach. Tom will be remembered for his knowledge of cars and his love of playing cards and games. Tom’s most enjoyment came from being with his grandsons. They regarded Tom as their best friend; they even had their own club called “The Fagarey Club”. He will be dearly missed by his grandsons, Robby and Connor Engelking and Blake and Dylan Gestach. He is also survived by siblings, Mary (Paul) Marrs, Ruth (Ted) Oare and John (JoAnn) Chan and other loving relatives and good friends. Tom is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dale Engelking. Private services were held.
