I worked with Lois at LifeUSA for 12 years, when our company was a family. We had the best of times. Everyone was close and special. Lois was a kind and gentle soul. She had humor, and I enjoyed her many antics. Although we have not seen each other since our LifUSA Reunion, she will be remembered fondly. Our condolences to her family. Keep the wonderful memories in your hearts. Pam and Charlie Bush, Waverly, MN

I was so sorry to hear the news of Lois' passing. I had the pleasure of working with her from 1995 with LifeUSA until she retired. I will always remember her smile and the way she genuinely cares about everyone she encountered, she was a very special person and will be greatly missed.

My heart goes out to Don and the family. Lois was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. She was such a positive force in my and many other lives and the loveliest host mom I could have wished for. During the last days, I have often been thinking about all the great memories I have made with her, about our conversations and the care and love I have experienced during my exchange year and following visits. I treasure all these memories and hold them dear. Lois was an amazing person in every way and I am thankful to have known her.
My family and I send you our love in this difficult time and keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

There's a very special garden where the trees of memory grow.
Nurtured by the kindness and concern that good friends show.
The roots are cherished memories of good times in the past.
The branches tender promises that souls endure and last.
It's a place of peace and beauty where bright new hopes can start, It's memory's lovely garden that soothes the hurting heart.

I was so sorry to hear about Lois's passing. I worked with Lois for several years in the Long Term Care Division at Allianz. She was an amazing lady with so many special gifts...knitting, quilting, sewing, cooking, a great sense of humor, the love for her family and friends! She was sweet, kind, caring and always a pleasure to work with.
We laughed a lot and always enjoyed talking about American Idol. The two of us enjoyed a night out and saw the Idols at the Excel Energy Center. It was a fun night with a lady who loved to laugh and enjoyed life.
Holding on to memories and looking back on what a very special lady Lois was, makes me smile. She will be missed.
Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives.
In sympathy and friendship, Jan Thompson

Dear Jeronimus family,
I am so sorry to hear about Lois' passing. I am truly grateful for the memories that Lois and all of you gave me when I first moved to the US as an exchange student more than 18 years ago. Before I met Lois and Don, I had never heard of Minnesota and I had never been to the Disney World in Orlando. Because of Lois, I also got into scrapbooking as a hobby and I still have the two scrapbooks from that time that are filled with photos of the Minnesota life, Lois and Don, the Orlando trip, and the high school friends I made.
Lois kept me well-fed - I still remember the delicious cherry pies she would bake. Also it was because of Lois that I watched the movie "The Sound of Music" for the first time when I lived with Don and Lois. I didn't know that all those wonderful songs were actually from a movie. It was the first movie that I understood in English without having to use subtitles.
Thank you so much for all the memories and my heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I will always remember Lois' full and big heart and Lois who helped others see new and bigger things in life. My family from Korea also sends their deepest condolences.

My heart & prayers go out to the family & everyone that will miss this beautiful soul. Lois loved her family deeply. She was a vibrant, positive, fearless person always cheerful & excited about life. Whether it was new yarn for socks or a new recipe to try. She added her special charm to everything. I will miss her Facebook stories. I plan on honoring her memory with some crazy socks on & challenging myself to try a new recipe in her honor. Love you, Lois. So good to have had you in my life. A friend from LifeUSA & Allianz.
