Wojcik, Marjorie J. (Slettehaugh)

04/30/1924 01/20/2019 Age 94, Edina. Marjorie was born and raised in Mamaroneck, NY. After marriage, she lived in Mpls, Chicago, Panama City Beach FL, and Edina. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Victoria Reilling, husbands Henry Slettehaugh and Matthew B Wojcik. Survived by Rick (Sharon) Slettehaugh, Mark (Marlene) Slettehaugh, Mark (Ginna) Wojcik and Martin (Pamela) Wojcik, Marla Wojcik, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind many treasured friends. WW II Navy veteran. She spent her career as an administrative assistant including the early years in the management office at Southdale Shopping Center and later working at the Federal Aviation Agency in Chicago. Marjorie painted beautiful ceramics and stitched many needlework designs. She was recently described by a great granddaughter as "You are so kind and generous and have made a great difference in this world, setting a good example, an amazing inspiration". Celebration of life service 2:00 PM, April 28 at First Unitarian Society, 900 Mount Curve Ave, Minneapolis 55403. Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the donor's choice.
