She worked as a nurse at Health Partners Clinic in St. Louis Park where she found fulfillment caring for others alongside her close-knit work family. Chris lived her life with optimism and faith. She enjoyed simple pleasures; spending time with family and friends, adoring her new grandson, taking in the serene beauty of northern MN, and basking under an umbrella on a sunny Florida beach. Chris had a true affection for all animals, and she loved to greet dogs wherever she went. Chris brought joy to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Dave; son Matt (Beth) Nimmo, daughter, Caren (Andre) Leffer Da Silva; grandson, Edward Nimmo; parents Roger and Carol Anderson; brother, Roger Anderson; sisters Carla (Alan) Bergseth and Cindy (Bob) Johnson, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11am at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Rd. 101, Maple Grove. The family will greet friends starting at 9:30am until the time of the service. Memorials may be made in Chris's name to the American Cancer Society. "My skin has sunshine warming me. Thank you, dear God, for all your blessings you have bestowed on me." Excerpt from Chris's journal, April 28, 2018
