My wife (Lulu) and I knew Jeff from singing karaoke at La Fondas in Eagan a few years ago. We enjoyed his singing and his friendly positive outlook on life. We didn't know Jeff well but we always considered Jeff a friend and will miss him.

So sad to hear this news. I only worked with him for one year while at Farnsworth-Upper Campus in St. Paul schools, but he was always friendly, funny, welcoming, and very talented at connecting with the students in his classroom. He definitely was gifted as an educator, and I imagine if he approached all aspects of his life with the same enthusiasm, wit, playfulness, and interest in learning, he was even more amazing!
My thoughts and condolences go out to Jeffery's family.
