Obituary of Evelyn Christine Neary

NEARY (Olson), Evelyn C., age 98, of Brooklyn Center, passed away on March 5, 2019. Retired employee of Honeywell.  Evelyn was a proud Norwegian.  She loved to bake and an avid gardener in her day.  She was the center of her family hub and her dimpled smile and sparkling eyes will always be remembered.  She was generous with her time and support of worthy causes.  Preceded in death by husband 54 years, Lyman; children, Mary and Matthew.  She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Patricia Flakne, Susan O’Bryan, Ann “Midge” Snyder (Larry); five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Harriet Nelson; many relatives and good friends.  Heartfelt thank you to Maranatha Presybterian Home – 2^nd floor staff for their compassionate care.  Mass of Christian Burial 10AM, Friday, April 12 at Our Lady of Victory, 5155 Emerson Ave. N., Mpls (612-529-7788).  Private interment.
