My condolences to Sam's family. Sam was a great friend. Caring, funny, and kind to me. I will never forget him, and the good memories. We bonded over comic book characters and movies. Our last day spent together was watching Black Panther and Thor Ragnorok. I'll treasure that, and all of our talks. Rest Peacefully, Sam.

You message me at 1 in the morning Saturday asking me if I could talk I can only sit in wonder what you wanted I wish I would have called you,, I got off work that morning and I had three missed phone calls when i woke up,one of the worst calls a person can get saying that we lost you, I always checked in on you just about every day to see how you're doing you were like a brother man I love you and I'll miss you everyday as tears are falling out of my eyes right now writing this

I'm very saddened to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to the family during this time of sorrow. May you find comfort with one another, sharing memories of Sam. Although, Sam and I didn't really know each other well, he had a strong bond with Connie, Curtis and the kids. He had phoned me, first time EVER, to share with me how the family was holding up during the time when Curtis was critical. It was a special moment for me. Here he is, after all those years, thinking of ME! How he got my number, I will never know. But I do know, he respected this family and loved us! You will be missed, Sam Vera: Those we love, don't go away, they walk beside us everyday.... Unseen, unheard, but always near... still LOVED, still MISSED and very Dear!
