Obituary of James R. Eikenberry

Eikenberry, James R.

age 86, of St. Therese, New Hope, formerly of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 24, 2019. He was a loving husband of 60 years, father, grandfather and brother. Preceded in death by wife, Susan (Branigan); parents and sister, Joan Herring. He is survived by children: Tom (Heidi), Julia Eikenberry, Laura Eikenberry (Gary Hatch), Kate (Matt) Kay and Tim (Ronnie); six grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Owen, Jack, Amber, Autumn and Calum; brother, Richard (Jean) and many loving relatives and friends. Memorial service will be 11am Wednesday, March 27, at the Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to N.C. Little Memorial Hospice. The family wishes to thank the staff at N.C. Little for their care and compassion.
