Obituary of David John Ericson

Ericson, David John, 75, passed away on March 16, 2019.  He was born to Wilson and Dorothy Ericson on May 10, 1943.  Dave joined the Duluth Police Department in 1965.  After serving one year, he moved his family to Bloomington, MN, and joined the Bloomington Police Department .  After 32 years of service, Dave retired in 1998. Dave was a graduate of Duluth East High School, Minnesota State University Mankato and earned a Master’s degree from Harvard University.  Survivors include wife, Susan; son, Brent; grandchildren Sarah and Bryan; sister, Diane Newgren of Brainerd, MN; brother, Bruce of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; many relatives and wonderful friends.  There will be a Celebration of Life with family at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a favorite charity.  Arrangements by Cremation Society of MN Edina Chapel.
