Obituary of Wing Ying Chan-Zachek

Wing Ying Chan-Zachek, aged 51, of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, peacefully passed on to the next life on December 28, 2018 after miraculously surviving Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Cancer for 16.5 years. She had a powerful, gentle, intensely loving spirit and the brightest smile ever witnessed. Born in Hong Kong on May 5th, 1967, she moved to Minnesota USA in 1988 and became a proud Alumnus of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Singing in the Concordia Choir was the joy of her life. She was a Board Certified Music Therapist and worked in the field of Long Term Care for several years. Wing was deeply loved by all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Her entire life was a profound example of her strong faith in Jesus.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Lee Zachek and her daughter Zoey Jo-Yee Zachek.

Memorial Service/Celebration of Life 2:00 P.M, Friday, April 5. Musical celebration to follow directly after.
