Obituary of Patricia Rhymer Hutchins

The daughter of Pete and Edith (Head) Rhymer, was born on October 7, 1931 in Warren, MN. She graduated from Rosemount High School and attended the University of MN. She married Lee Hutchins on June 27, 1953. They were married 64 years. Pat was an employee of General Mills until the birth of their son, Robert. They moved to Owatonna in 1966. When Lee retired in 1977, he and Pat worked side-by-side refurbishing rental properties for many years until their move to Alexandria, MN. In 2018 Pat moved to Prior Lake to be near her family. Pat died on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lee Hutchins. She is survived by her son, Robert (Marcia), grandchildren Michael (Megan), Lisa, Stephanie (Kevin), and Grant; Great granddaughter, Vivian. A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. Marks United Church of Christ, 8630 Xerxes Avenue South, Bloomington, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service followed by a luncheon. Memorials are preferred to the Nature Conservancy.
