Obituary of Elaine Anuta

Olga “Elaine” Anuta, 88, of White Bear Township, passed away on March 16, 2019. Elaine was born on April 12, 1930 to the late Harold and Ingrid (Suksi) Wiitala in Misery Bay, Michigan. Elaine is preceded in death by her brothers: Howard, Harold as well as her parents. Elaine is survived by her husband of 70 years: Michael, her children: Kirsti (Ahvo) Taipale, Michael A. (Jean) Anuta, grandchildren: Kaisa (Andreas) Taipale, Paavo Taipale, Ritva (Pauli) Mikkonen, Michael L. (Bailey) Anuta, Samuel Anuta, great-grandchildren: Helmi, Taimi, Conrad, Michael K., as well as many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be forwarded to the Salolampi Foundation and Adams Township School District Foundation, Inc. A private family memorial service for Elaine will take place at a later date.
