Obituary of Steven J. Peterson

Steven J. Peterson, Born September 12, 1954, died at home on March 15, 2019.

Steve was a graduate of Morgan Park High School, UW River Falls and UMD and was a CPA employed by Esterbrooks Scott Signorelli Peterson Smithson, Ltd. in Duluth.

Steve was an avid softball player and umpire in the area for 50 years. Karaoke and Elim Church Choir were recipients of his rich voice, and he enjoyed showing and caring for his Cardigan Welsh Corgis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Peterson and Florence (Sorenson, Peterson) Carlson; and stepfather, Verner Carlson.

Steven is survived by his wife, Barbara A Peterson, Saginaw, MN; stepsons, John Pederson (Jessica), Blue Mounds, WI, Eric Pederson (Joey) Burnsville, MN; children, Rebecca Peterson & John Peterson; grand kids, Claire, Lars, Mason, and Spencer.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service, Wednesday, March 20, in Elim Lutheran Church, 6101 Cody St, in Duluth.
