Obituary of John A. Anderson

John A. Anderson Sr., 71, of Duluth, passed away at his home on March 10, 2019. John was born to Albert and Bernice Anderson. He grew up in West Duluth with his 2 siblings, William Curtis and Karen (Earl) Upton. John served in the U.S. Army October 4, 1965 through September 10, 1968. He worked at the Sewage Treatment Plant, Sewer Department and Public Works Street Maintenance July 1, 1969 through July 30, 2002. John was also a Thunderbird MC member 1970-2019. John married Eileen Anderson (Rogge) April 1, 1972, and together, had 5 children. John is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Bernice Anderson, his siblings William Curtis and Karen Upton, also by his wife Eileen Anderson. John is survived by his children Tina (Jason) LaRocque, Therese Hughes, Tara (Bert) Stadin, John Anderson Jr., Toni (Russ) Hodel, also by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and Shawn Leslie "Fly".

Services will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota on April 1, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. John's celebration of life will held at Borders Bar & Grill in Superior WI on April 1, 2019 at 3 p.m.
