Obituary of Daryl M. Pearson

Daryl M. Pearson, age 79, of Duluth, peacefully passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at Bayshore Health and Rehabilitation. He was born to Algot Pearson and Cassandra Morris Pearson on November 19, 1939 in Duluth MN. Born legally blind in his left eye and at the age of twelve losing the right to a BB gun accident, Daryl didn't let that stop him and lived life to the fullest extent. Daryl was a Minnesotan man who enjoyed a great joke, a cold beer and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He was also an avid bowler and sports fan, primarily the Minnesota Twins. In his free time you could find him in the Rustic Bar and Grill or at home eating a SPAM sandwich with an old western on the TV. Daryl was a lifetime member of the Moose and OWL's club. He ran the Federal Building coffee shop for 27 years until his retirement at the age of 50. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol, their son, Jim and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Kim (Robb) Mickolajak of Superior, grandaughter Mariah (Anthony) Forrestal of Hermantown, Great Grandson Anthony II, his brother Duanne (Rhonda) Pearson of Centerview MO and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16th from 2 P.M. until 5 P.M. at the Rustic Bar and Grill, 401 N. Central Ave., Duluth. Family would like to thank everyone at Bayshore Rehabilitation Center for the great care and support provided for Daryl. He very much appreciated the company and the compassion from the staff.
