Obituary of Willa Lee Schickling

Willa Lee (Womack) Schickling, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2019, in Hastings, MN. She was born on March 19, 1930 in Grafton, IL to Thomas and Lena (Underwood) Womack. On July 3, 1950, she married Gilbert “Wimpy” Schickling. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Brenda, grandson Eric, step-son Richard “Lil Wimp”, step-grandson Richie, brothers and sisters.

Survived by daughters Denise (Dan) May, Patti Schickling; grandchildren Tom (Melanie), Sara, Jimmy, Elizabeth (Stephen); step-grandson Russ (Kathy); great-grandchildren Dustin, Dylan, Cora, Marcus, Jaxson, Katelyn, Sterling, Aubrey, Ethan, step-great-grandchildren Brandon, Nathan, Abby, and Keith; son-in-law Jim Dodge; sister Carol Walther; childhood and forever friend Rea Owens; sister-in-law Delores Schickling; many other relatives, friends, and special pets Jack and Spot.

Visitation at Joy Lutheran Church, Prescott, WI, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Saturday, March 23, 2019, with memorial service at 2:00pm.
