Obituary of Alan Jacob Young

Alan Jacob Young, 41, of Duluth MN passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, March 4, 2019. Alan was born on December 23, 1977 in Fort Hood, Texas to Craig and Lauren Young. He attended Duluth Central High School. Alan was an avid reader, loved classic rock, enjoyed working on old cars and hunting with his grandpa Ray. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Geraldine Leischke, Robert Young, Clarice Young, and Warren and Barbara Young. He was survived by his beautiful daughter Mariah Goodreau, his parents Lauren and Steven Young, and Craig Young all of Duluth. His brother Conan (Nichole) Young of Harris, MN. Family dog Neener. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Service will be held Thursday March 14, 2019 at the Cremation Society of Duluth 4100 Grand Ave Duluth MN 55807. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 with memorial service to follow.
