Obituary of Joel L. Bushnell

Joel L. Bushnell, 86, of Duluth, MN died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at North Shores Estates Nursing Home, with his wife, Sharon by his side.

He was born December 21, 1932 in St. Paul, MN and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Joel, better known as "Mr. Carpet," spent most of his career in carpet sales, the highlight being at Cheney Carpet, owned by Steve Cheney. His last place of employment was with Dans Carpet (GBS).

Joel was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Danny and David; brother, George and sister-in-law, Sharon.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon, children, Mike, Jeff (Michelle), Debbie (Mick) Vujcevic and Judy Bushnell; grandchildren, Katie, Chris (Crystal), Chloe, Luisa and Jeffrey; great-granddaughter, Keyona; brother, W. Ray (Joan); niece, Jackie (Rick), nephew, Brian (Shelly) and their children.

He was so loved and will be missed by us all.

Gathering of family and friends from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. memorial service Friday, Mar. 15th in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
