Obituary of Joyce L. (Bristow) Kraft

Joyce L. (Bristow) Kraft, 69, of Tucson, AZ, and Remer, MN, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2019, following a two-year battle with melanoma cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Gavin and Laura Victoria (Dudley) Bristow. Joyce was born in Kankakee, IL on June 16, 1949, and was raised in Joliet, IL. Joyce was a graduate of Bethel College and spent her entire working career in the Twin Cities, working in human resources in the public, private and medical sectors. After retirement, Joyce and Dennis traveled extensively. Joyce enjoyed RVing, cruising, reading, quilting and spending cherished time with family and friends. Joyce is survived by and will be missed greatly by her loving husband of 32 years, Dennis; daughter, Caitlin Wilde; sons, Chris (Lisa) Kraft and Steve (Lisa) Kraft; grandchildren: Jonah, Hannah, Aaron, Nathan and Caleb Harding, and Samantha, Jacob, Austin and Emma Kraft; brother, Bob (Marilyn) Bristow; nieces, Amanda and Laura; nephew, Gavin; as well as many good friends. A funeral service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr, Burnsville, MN, on Tuesday, March 12 at 11:00 am. Memorials preferred to the Masonic Cancer Center at the U of MN or the charity of your choice.
