Obituary of Chris Lawrence DeMorrow

Age 60, of Woodbury, MN Passed away surrounded by family and his best friend on February 22, 2019 after a short battle with pulmonary disease. Chris was born Dec. 25, 1958 in St. Joseph, MI. Chris met his wife Janet (Mueller) after being paired together while accompanying friends on a camping weekend in Southern Ohio 36 years ago and were engaged soon after. Chris moved his young family to Minnesota and quickly fell in love with the north woods. Chris can simply be described as a man who was dedicated to his wife; who lovingly encouraged and supported their 2 children; he loved surprising people; a lover of nature and a true outdoorsman; an adventurous spirit and always ready to learn something new; he had a newly found love of woodworking; an avid problem solver; a master aircraft mechanic/maintenance controller; and always promoted the fun in all situations. Chris is cherished and remembered by his loving wife Janet; daughter Stacy (son-in-law Maxx Miller), son Bruce; parents Larry and Doris DeMorrow; brothers Keith and Kurt; mother-in-law Gloria Mueller; and numerous extended family and dear friends. A private memorial is currently being planned in conjunction with a Public memorial set for later this year.
