Obituary of Aelred A. Wagner

Aelred A. (Butch) Wagner, age 80, of New Market, MN, died peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault, MN.  A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrate his life on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Church of St. Nicholas in New Market, MN.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 am.

Butch was born on May 7, 1938, to Edward and Evelyn (Lenzmeier) Wagner of New Market, MN.  He attended St. Nicholas Grade School and graduated from New Prague High School in 1956.  Following graduation, Butch continued to work on the family farm until his retirement.

He was a life long member of St. Nicholas Parish and was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include brothers Leander and Edward of New Market, MN, sisters Lois (Tom) Kubes of Owatonna, MN, and Sister Cheryl Marie, SSND, of Bloomington, MN, nieces and nephews, great and great grand nieces and nephews.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Evelyn, brothers Kenneth and Albert, sister Sister Mary Ellen, SSND, and sister-in-law Victoria (Skluzacek) Wagner.
