Obituary of Dolores Caroline Arseth

Dee (Dolores) Caroline Arseth, age 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday morning, February 19th 2019. She was born in Drayton, ND on November 4th 1929 to Paul and Lillian Kosmatka (Langowski). She was the youngest of 6 children. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Alice, Sylvester, Harry, Helen, and Stanley.

Dee was raised on a farm in Grafton, ND and graduated from Grafton High School in 1948. She worked as a bank teller before she had children. She enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, bowling, finding bargains at garage sales, playing bridge. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren baking cookies, making jello, playing board games, playing card games and spending time at the lake house in the Brainerd area and winter residence in Mesa, Arizona.

She is survived by her husband Wesley G. Arseth, her children in Minnesota, Pamela of Duluth, Sandi (Joe Polnaszek) of Minneapolis, Bob of Brainerd, and Paul (Caroline) of Plymouth, her grandchildren Mitch, Alicia (Neil), Heather, Sydney, and Kayli, her great grandchildren Ethan, Avery, Aidan, Hunter, and Gunner.

Dee’s ashes will be buried at Fort Snelling cemetery 7601 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55450. There will be a gravesite service at Assembly Area 4 on Monday February 25th at promptly 11:15a followed by a light luncheon at the American Legion 3751 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55406 Phone: (612) 729-6824
