Obituary of Susan E. Quinn

Susan E. Quinn, age 71 of Bloomington passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2019 after a 22 year battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Olive Volinkaty; sister Karen (LeRoy) Youngblom; brother John Volinkaty; and niece Carla Youngblom. Survived by husband of 37 years Colin Quinn; sons Ryan E. Quinn and Daniel J. Quinn; sister Patricia (Orville) Guth; sisters-in-law Judy Volinkaty-Bickel and Sondra (Quinn) Lee; many nieces and nephews. Born in New Ulm and grew up in nearby LaFayette. Moved to the Mpls area and worked at Honeywell for about 18 years where she became a Compensation Manager. She then worked at Family and Children's Health Services, where she was an office manager. She loved her family, her dogs, occasional trips to the casino and her trips to Florida. Her wry sense of humor was her trademark that was enjoyed by all. Visitation Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Celebation of Life On Friday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 1701 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington. Visitation at 10:00 AM, service at 11:00 AM. Luncheon to follow.
