Obituary of Suzanne Syring-McCullough

Suzanne Syring-McCullough, a life-long resident of the Duluth area, died Sunday the 20th of January at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Born in 1961 in Duluth, MN, Sue was a beloved member of the community. She worked for Saint Luke's Mental Health prior to her retirement. Sue was an avid baker, loved animals, enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She is survived by her husband Bryan McCullough, daughter Maggie Nemec, son Jake Nemec, stepdaughter Michelle Kelly and her husband Timothy Kelly, stepson Matthew McCullough, brother Steve Syring, and several aunts and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 9th between 2 and 4pm at First Memorial Funeral Chapel in Duluth. Memorial gifts may be made to the Animal Allies Humane Society, 4006 Airport Road, Duluth, MN 55811. The First Memorial Funeral Chapel, Duluth, has been entrusted with arrangements.
