Obituary of Lorraine Hasselquist

Lorraine Hasselquist, aka Nana, age 96 of Minneapolis, passed way on January 27, 2019. Born in Watertown, MN, the daughter of Edwin and Florence Swenson. Preceded in death by parents, one sister and husband, Maynard Hasselquist. Graduated Gustavus Adolphus College and received her nursing degree from Northwestern Hospital School of Nursing. Served her country during World War II in Austria, Poland, and Germany with the 139th Evacuation Hospital assigned to the 3rd Army. Survived by sons, Mark (Karen) Hasselquist, Peter (Susan) Hassel-quist and seven grandchildren. Memorials preferred to Courage Kenny Foundation. A celebration of life to be announced in early spring.
