Obituary of Elizabeth M. Hoard

Age 88 Passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2019 surrounded by members of her family. Elizabeth was born in Germany but lived in the United States since 1949 when she married a member of the United States Air Force, Duane Hoard, who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a resident of Highland Park in St. Paul since 1967. She is survived by her three daughters, Heidi Wilson, Lynn Knee and Melissa Carbonneau; grandchildren John and Steven Lunseth, Ken Knee, and Andrew, David and Pete Carbonneau; and sons-in-law Misha Wilson, Robert Knee and Thomas Carbonneau. Two grandchil-dren, Melanie Knowlton and Nathan Knee preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1807 Field Avenue, St. Paul, where she was known for serving coffee and cookies, on Saturday January 26th at 10 a.m. She will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Duane.
