Obituary of Michael Raymond Miller

Michael Raymond Miller passed away at the age of 61 on Friday January 25th, 2019. He resided in St. Paul MN but was a long time resident of Minneapolis. Before Minnesota, Michael was raised in LaCrosse WI, the eldest of 5 brothers. He attended college at UW LaCrosse and later graduated with a law degree from Hamline University. Michael lead a life of public service working for Hennepin county for 26 years and was proud of his work developing the volunteer services program. He lived his life outdoors and treasured visits to the Superior shore. When not outdoors Michael could be found enjoying live music, visiting a tap room, or reading a good book. Above all Michael loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and many close friends. Michael is survived by his wife, Kathie Prieve; son, Cody Myers-Miller & wife Linnea Olson; daughter, Vienna Miller-Prieve; grandchildren, Annika, Soren & Finn; father, Jerry Miller and step-mother, Sharon Miller; brothers, Tony, Rick, Steve & Dan Miller A memorial service will be held on Wednesday January 30, 2019 with a visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. and service 3:00-4:00 p.m. at O'Halloran & Murphy at 2245 Hamline Avenue North, Roseville, MN 55113.
