Obituary of Dorothy Ann Larson

Dorothy Ann (Erickson) Larson of Cottage Grove, MN passed away on January 11, 2019. Dorothy was born in Minneapolis, MN on January 17, 1937. She married Dennis L. Larson on November 25, 1955 and together they raised five children. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and later she earned an Accounting Degree from Inver Hills. Dorothy retired from the State of Minnesota where she had a successful career. Dorothy brought great joy to the lives of her family and friends. She was a talented artist-- drawing, painting, sewing and crocheting. She loved her pets and spending time outdoors at their hobby farm. Dorothy especially enjoyed traveling and being with family and friends.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Dennis L. Larson, father Roy Erickson, mother Edna (Thorpe) Erickson, son Dennis D. Larson, daughter Lori Larson, granddaughter Ashley Larson, grandson Josiah Larson and sister Darlene (Jack) Bunting.

She is survived by her daughters Donna Bourgoin, Lynda (David) Kuhn, Lisa (Randy) Larson; grandsons Isaac (Kristi) Larson, Isaiah Larson, Bradley Larson, Joseph Bourgoin, Harrison Bourgoin; granddaughters Amanda Sprandel, Olivia Larson, Emily Kuhn, Kaitlyn Larson, Lydia Kuhn; great grandchildren Zamiah, Lucas & Gabriel; brother Robert (Marianne) Erickson, many nephews, nieces, other loving relatives, caregivers and good friends. A very special thank you to White Pine, Cottage Grove for their care and affection.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00am, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 400 Ninth Street West, Hastings, MN 55033. Luncheon to follow. Burial services will be held at a later date in Orr, Minnesota.
