Obituary of Gloria Voncille Eccles

Gloria Voncille Eccles, 93, of Superior, WI died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Superior. Gloria was born in Cass Lake, MN on May 6th, 1925 to Clara Amanda (Nelson) and Harry Hughes Eccles. Gloria is survived by a son, Denny Ray Eccles, Superior, WI; and a daughter, Penny Kay Eccles, Azusa, CA. Also, two granddaughters: Jolene (Rutheford) Mackey, of Silver Bay, MN and Elizabeth Paige Eccles, of Solon Springs, WI and a daughter-in-love, Carol (Tobin Rutheford) Eccles, Superior, WI. Siblings surviving her are Donna Mavis (Eccles) Yadon of Brillion, WI, and June Ann (Eccles) Avery of Superior, WI. Also surviving her are multiple nieces and nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her siblings Cameron Wadsworth Eccles, Nadine Mae (Eccles) Skytland, baby girl Joyce Gertrude Eccles, and Nolan Tanie Eccles,Sr. There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday, January 27th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center. Comments being made at 1:30 with refreshments following.
