Obituary of Michael "Buck" Gill

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael "Buck" Howard Gill announces his sudden passing on January 23, 2019 at the age of 66. Michael was born in Duluth to Howard and Helen (Carlson) Gill on June 29, 1952. He graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1970 and served in the Navy from 1970-1974. He married Lynn M. Behrendt in 1977 and they raised two daughters together, Jennifer and Rebecca. His hobbies included woodworking and continued service to his country and community as an active member of the Duluth Honor Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jo Ann Polzin; brother's Jerome Gill and Edward Gill. Michael is survived by his daughters Jennifer Gill, Rebecca (David) Kopke; granddaughter Isla Kopke; brother Rick (Debbie) Gill; and sisters in law Sharon Gill and Sandy Gill as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements will be made in the spring for a service with military honors.
