Obituary of Burton B Bolter

Burton B. Bolter, age 71 of Greenwald, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family,Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the CentraCare Nursing Home in Melrose, MN. Memorial service is being planned for early spring.

Burton was born September 18, 1947 in Wood Lake, MN to Bernhard and Ella (Schulz) Bolter. He entered the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1970. Burton was united in marriage with Lucille Evenson on April 1, 1972 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wood Lake, MN. The family moved to the Melrose area in 1987.

Burton and Lucille loved spending time with their grandsons, and taking short road trips.

Survivors include his sister Bernadine (Kenneth) Lafrentz; two children Randy Bolter (fiancé Regina Cihlar) of Freeport and Heidi Tate of Lake Stevens, WA and his 4 grandsons; Isaac, Simon, Noah, and Abel.

Burton was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille on October 6, 2018; granddaughter, Jana Tate.
