Hey Stone families.
Very sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I occasionally check obits to see if anyone I know or knew has passed....jeez, kinda like I'm getting old or something!
Nancy was a wonderful woman and always struck me as being very forward thinking with a genuine "can-do" attitude and not willing to accept "no" for an answer, or even "average" as a result.
It always amazed me in the seventies that she treated me as an equal.... most adults treated us Teens as lower forms of life!
She was the only "mom" if a good friend who would just sit and B.S. with us as if we were normal people!
She also is one of the only people who took a few pictures of me with long hair, something my folks didn't even do!
Attending Park Center from '74 to '76 and getting to know her, Chris, Glen, Linda as well as meeting Jeff a couple times too are highlighted in my good memories.
To the family, Alice and I are very sad to hear of your loss. She was an amazing lady and an amazing mom.
Hope you all are well and we can get together sometime and reminisce about those years and about your mom
