Obituary of Rhonda Renee' Jacobson

Rhonda Renee' Jacobson, 55, died January 10, 2019, after a valiant battle with ALS.

Rhonda was born May 14, 1963 to Charlene and James Johnson of Biwabik, MN. She graduated from Biwabik High School in 1981 and then received training as a legal secretary.

She married Dan Jacobson on September 28th 1985. The lived in Duluth for a time, but then built a house in Wrenshall, MN where they raised their 3 children.

Rhonda loved gardening and all "growing" things. She owned and operated "Rhonda's Flower Pot". She loved participating in community activities and volunteering. Rhonda loved the water, boating, fishing and swimming were some of her favorites. Rhonda's true passion were her children and grandchildren. Her eyes always lit up when the kids and grandkids came around.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father Jim and her grandparents.

She is survived by husband, Dan; children, Sam (Julie), Anna, and Josh; grandchildren, Noah, William and Ruby (with another on the way); mother, Charlene; siblings, Mike (Stacy) Johnson, Kelly (David) Bolf, Terri Johnson; and many relatives (cousins) and friends.

Rhonda will always be known for her kindness, generosity, and positive attitude. The family would like to thank the ALS Society of MN, the Essentia / Solvay Hospice House staff and the personal caregivers that helped Rhonda so much.

Gathering of family and friends from 5pm until 7pm Thurs. Jan. 17th and from 9am until the 10am memorial service Friday, Jan. 18th, all at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth
