Obituary of Guy P. Patterson

Guy P. Patterson, Age 79 of Minnetonka passed away December 30th, 2019. Preceded in death by: both parents Cornelius and Laura Patterson and half-brother, Bobby Patterson. Guy owned and operated several businesses over the years including a gas station/bulk fuel oil business, liquor store, commercial real estate, and sold residential real estate for Edina Realty. In retirement he stayed busy working part time at Luther Honda in Hopkins as a courtesy driver. In his early days he was active with the Hopkins Elks Club and served two years in the Army Guy had a passion for golf, vintage cars, antique furniture and the Minnesota Vikings. Guy had a kind spirit and was a friend to many. Survived by wife, Susan; son, Greg (Denise) Patterson; grandchildren, Tim, Gretchen, and Annika Patterson; sister, Paula (David) Bardsley; and other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 10th at 12:00 PM at Gethsemane Lutheran Church at 715 Minnetonka Mills Rd. Hopkins, MN. Visitation is an hour before service.
