Obituary of Evelyn McIndoo

Evelyn McIndoo 88, passed away on December 24th in Hermantown MN.

She was born in Warren, Ohio to Joseph and Gladys Shoff. Her early life was spent traveling but in 1963, she finally settled down in Babbitt, Minnesota to raise seven children. She traveled almost every year to see family in California and Ohio with her sister Nellie, keeping up the family traditions together.

Evelyn leaves behind a world that is better for her having been in it. Her sense of compassion, justice, grace and humor are a great example to her kids.

She is survived by her children, Kerry (Nancy) McIndoo, Steven Sayers, Timothy McIndoo, Joseph (Dorothy) Sayers, Mary (Joe) Persons, Elizabeth (Dennis) Purkat and Martin McIndoo and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
