Obituary of Craig Thomas Hanson

Craig (Rhino)Thomas Hanson passed away on December 28, 2018. He was born May 20th, 1956 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota to Robert Willard Hanson and Donna Lucille Northridge. Craig graduated from Slayton High School in 1974 where he participated on the football and wrestling teams. He attended Moorhead State University for two years where he competed on the football team. Craig enlisted in the Marines in 1976 and served a total of three years in Hawaii and Japan. Upon returning to Minnesota, Craig attended a film school called Film in the Cities to prepare for his career in the film industry. He served as a lighting technician for the production of numerous TV commercials and feature films over a nearly 40 year career. Craig married Kimberly Daniels on June 5, 1982 and had three children Erik, Jake, and Miranda. Craig enjoyed watching his children growing up in the Twin Cities and has taken great delight in his grandchildren. He loved reading about history, watching movies, and football. Craig is survived by his wife Kim, his three children Erik (Samantha), Jake (Grace), and Miranda, and his three grandchildren Trevin, Odin, and Eiko.
