Obituary of Ione Jean Miedema

Ione Jean Miedema age 65, passed away December 23, 2018. Born in Spring Valley, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Lynn & Ellen Miedema and sister, Patricia Kuleck. Survived by sister, Sue Miedema; niece, Jessica Leverland; Nephew, Kevin (Shelby) Leverland; grand-nephews, Rylen & Landon; grand-niece, Lindsey; aunt, Eva Anderson; many cousins and other relatives. Graduated from Cooper Sr. High, New Hope, MN in 1971. Graduated from NHCC in nursing. Received a Master’s from Stanford University, SF CA. Worked at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, MN as an RN and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI as Bone Marrow Transplant Coordination Manager until her retirement in June, 2018. She was a member of ONS and VFW and was involved with her community and her church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshfield until her move to Plymouth, MN when she retired. Services will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
